The Waunakee Touchdown Club

It is with great pride that the Touchdown Club continues to support our Warrior football teams at all levels, from Youth to Middle School to High School.  The Waunakee Touchdown Club strives to ensure each participant and person associated with the program has the best football experience possible.  We do this by providing both financial and non - financial support that allows players to play, coaches to coach, and the community to cheer our teams on.

The Touchdown Club takes great pride in the fact that the Waunakee Community School District has been able to avoid increases to the high school football budget for more than 20 years because we have been able to step in and provide the additional support required to keep the Warrior tradition of excellence alive & well.

Past Support and Donations

The Touchdown Club is a non-profit organization which has supported the Waunakee football program since 1992.  Donations to the Touchdown Club are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Examples of support provided include, but are not limited to the following:
   

• Game Uniforms, practice jerseys & pants, and foul weather gear (high school)
• Equipment - helmets, shoulder pads, etc.
• Nutrition - away game food, two-a-day food, and film session snacks
• Annual reconditioning of all helmets
• Portable goal posts for Youth program
• Video cameras and playback equipment
• Weight Room Renovation - new weights, sound system, and other conditioning equipment
• Team awards for the high school and middle school programs
• Purchase or lease & maintenance of practice transport equipment (golf carts)
• "Purple Heart" support for players facing adversity
• Food and refreshments in the press box at home varsity games for announcers, coaches, and officials
• Membership for the coaching staff in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association
• Youth & Middle School Program support - coaching clinics, equipment, uniforms, end of season celebrations, etc.
• Tailgate for TDC members prior to first home varsity game
• Tailgate for Youth Program on Youth Night
• Website management
• Production of highlight video for varsity season
• Irrigation system for high school practice fields
• Warrior stadium improvements such as the secondary concession stand & clothing booth
• Numerous miscellaneous items

The Touchdown Club raises funding to support Warrior football through:

• Raffle ticket sales
• Golf outing
• Warrior football merchandise sales
• 50/50 raffle during home varsity games
• Concession stand sales
• Home game program ad sales
• Highlight DVD sales
• Touchdown Club memberships
